Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016
Albania will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden. Their entry will be selected through the national final ''Festivali i Këngës 54'', organised by the Albanian broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH).

Albania's worst placing came in 2007 where Frederik Ndoci performing the song "Hear My Plea" came seventeenth in the semi-final. ''Festivali i Këngës'' has been organised every year since 1964 and has been used as Albania's Eurovision selection method since its début in 2004. In 2015, Elhaida Dani won ''Festivali i Këngës 53'' with the song "Diell". However, her song was later changed and she performed "I'm Alive" in Vienna. Dani placed tenth in the first semi-final, advancing to the final where she placed seventeenth.
Details regarding the 54th edition of ''Festivali i Këngës'' were announced on 9 August 2015,〔 however the official confirmation that the Albanian broadcaster would participate in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest only came on 24 September.
